Hey fellow bloggers!
In today's post I am going to show you Tinsel Town from the Let It Snow collection from China Glaze! I picked this up yesterday at Sally's. It was either this one or Twinkle Lights. I wanted both but decided against it since I'm not a gold polish fan.
Tinsel Town is a grey jelly base with tons of silver glitter; some finely milled, and some medium sized silver hexagonal glitter as well. I was so glad to pick this up it was one of the ones I originally wanted but they didn't have, thank god they refilled the display.

My First Franken!!
Hello!
For today I have my first franken polish! Its nothing special really and I didn't create a bottle of it, but I will if I can get my hands on second bottles of each color I used!
So I have been kind of obsessed with Blue Years Eve from China Glaze. If you haven't see my Why So Blue? then click the link. So I thought maybe, just maybe I could come up with a way to re-create it. Unfortunately, I don't believe I re-created it but I did come close, its just a different shade. I took Celeb City from Sally Hansen Extreme Wear and Midnight Blue from Sinful Colors and mixed the two on a piece of paper.

Crackle Kick and a Hurricane
I am soo sorry for not posting in forever! Since I had gotten back from Florida life has been anything but relaxing. :(
The week after we got back and I had to go back to work, lets just say work has been stressing me out to the max and that I am almost pulling my hair out. I wont get into details about it. Then at the end of that first week back we had a hurricane. Okay so it was tropical storm when it came through where I live. I live in New York and happened to be in one of the most hardest hit areas. I watched on TV my home town wash away, it was absolutely horrifying. During that time I was stuck inside which was about 2 and a half days due to the flooding in my area, I went on a crackle kick.
Now I know crackle is sort of a fading fad but I still like it time to time. Especially black crackle with bright colors underneath. Since I haven't bought any new nail polish lately I broke out two old Sally Hansen HD Polishes, Digital and Pixel Pretty.
So here they are :

Pink frosting with sprinkles
So this manicure is totally inspired by the blogger Nouveau Cheap. If you are subscribed to her blog then you know what I mean she is AMAZING! She always gives you information on the best beauty deals, whether it is with nail polish, make up, hair care or skin care. I always go to her blog to check out the drug store sales for the week and the review for some of the lastest products. I can always trust her opinon about products!
She recently did a manicure inspired lime green jello that has the fruit suspeneded in it. I love jello just not with fruit in it, but either way this mani rocked my socks!!! <3
Here is the link to her manicure so you can see how she did it! http://nouveaucheap.blogspot.com/2011/08/want-bite-of-my-green-jello-jelly.html
So for my variation of this lovely look was as the title states, pink frosting with sprinkles. I used Sinful Colors in Scandal. Its the only nice jelly polish that I have that would work for this. I then layered in Wet n' Wild Party of Five Glitters, and finished off with China Glaze Fast Foward Top Coat. It worked really well to seal it all in.
Heres the pic :
Hope you guys enjoy!
