My Favorite Polishes of 2011! Part 1
Hello!
Time to throw my two cents in and give my favorite polishes of 2011! Now since I didn't start my blog until March of this year, I didn't get on the band wagon of all the new collections. I always wish that I had gotten in to polish sooner! None the less I have my 10 or actually 11 polishes that I have declared my favorites of the year. Granted the polishes came out in the latter half of the year( end of August till now). These are in no particular order, I just picked them because I wore them a lot or talked about them at length, and not just on the blog in real life too.

Merry Christmas! And a kitty!
Hey everyone! Merry Christmas! (If that is what you celebrate of course!)
This has been a fantastic holiday for me. Santa was very kind in bringing me some very lovely things. I got a new digital camera, it is the Kodak Easy Share z5010 with a 21x zoom wide angle lens and films in HD and everything. I am so in love.

Impress; Press on Nails.
Hey guys!
Yesterday I let you know my Influenster box came in the mail. Today starts the reviews and or showing of the products I received to test.
First off can I say how happy that Christmas is 9 days away. So for the first product I have to show you is the Impress Press on nails from Broadway nails. This was one of the first products in my Voxbox that I was excited to see and try. I'm not a huge fan of fake nails, I have had plenty of bad experiences with them, from acrylic to press on.
The Impress nails come in really cute packaging, all the nails are safely tucked away in a fake nail polish bottle. They have five nails in a tray to show you what the color or design of the nail is. The ones that I received were called working girl.
I love the design because its crackle and it was the one I saw in CVS and really liked although I saw some other designs I definitely like as well. These claim that they last up to a week. Obviously I just put them on today so I cannot tell you, if they last that long yet. I will however post an update every day that they are on. With the line of work I do though I don't think these will make it past tomorrow night :( . I am wearing them right now as I type this and they are holding up well, usually when I wear press on nails they start to slide off and push back into my cuticles, these def have some holding power so far.

Oh Christmas Tree!
So today I have my final holiday manicure for you guys. Its a Christmas tree!
I was happy with the way this came out, since my nail art isn't at its best I figured maybe half a tree would suffice?

Holiday Design: Glittery Wreath
Hey guys and gals!
Today I have a holiday design for you that is super simple! Its as simple as the candy cane nail I showed you.
Today its a wreath, I love the look of wreaths when people have them on their doors or hanging in stores. I know where I work we have a giant (fake) wreath that has lights and bows on it and it looks so pretty.
So here is how to get your own wreath!

Holiday Designs: Snowmen and Snowladys
Hey everyone!
Hope your all well. Hope your Christmas shopping is all done or getting there. I still have a few things to get but I have made a deadline for myself, of Dec. 15th because last year I was shopping right up til Christmas Eve.
Anyway here is an awesome polish design for you! Its a snowman and his snowlady even though here in New York we do not have any snow yet.

Sally Hansen Gem Crush
Good evening!
So I literally just got home from work 10 minutes ago and jumped on the computer to post this. Today doing laundry at the laundry mat with my mother, I took a trip across the street to the local CVS. Usually they disappoint me because they never seem to get anything new in.

China Glaze Eye Candy Collection and Swatches (Pic heavy)
Hello everyone! Sorry this post is up later than expected. I was busy with work, doctor appointments, and every time I wanted to post I would realize I would have to do something else first.
Back on Thursday I received my package from Head2Toe Beauty. I ordered these nail polish back on Monday, and they got shipped out Tuesday and arrived Thursday so about a day and a half of shipping total, but four days for the order to be done. I am so pleased with how it all went down,

China Glaze Let It Snow: Tinsel Town
Hey fellow bloggers!
In today's post I am going to show you Tinsel Town from the Let It Snow collection from China Glaze! I picked this up yesterday at Sally's. It was either this one or Twinkle Lights. I wanted both but decided against it since I'm not a gold polish fan.
Tinsel Town is a grey jelly base with tons of silver glitter; some finely milled, and some medium sized silver hexagonal glitter as well. I was so glad to pick this up it was one of the ones I originally wanted but they didn't have, thank god they refilled the display.

Quick Post China Glaze 3D Eye Candy Collection
Hey guys!
I am so excited right now! I was online today searching for the 10 dollar stamping kit Rite Aid apparently has out but my Rite Aid didn't have it. :( But I did get something a little bit better, while I was searching to see if you could purchase the Gem Crush Collection from Sally Hansen online at CVS or Walgreens, I went to Head2Toe Beauty's website and guess what?? They had the new China Glaze 3D Eye Candy Collection up and ready to purchase! For pricing at $3.50 a bottle I was so ready to order. I got four out of the six polishes after reading many of the reviews I saw online. I think that's the first time I have ever ordered so much of one collection usually I only get one or two polishes that stand out to me.
I ordered, Love Marylin, Some Like It Haute, Marry A Millionaire, and Lorelei's Tiara! So Excited. Hopefully they will get sent out soon and be here by the end of the week or just before Thanksgiving. I'm not sure how Head2Toe is on shipping time so we shall see.
Just wanted you all to know you can get them from at least Head2Toe Beauty right now! 8ty8Beauty and transdesign does not have them up yet although 8ty8 does have the signage up for them. Shipping them to my P.O box only cost me $6.45 and they have a 5% off your order code you can enter at check out too so that saved me a whopping .70 cents!
Okay all Have a great Day!
Nicole

My little haul... China Glaze and Color Club ( Pic Heavy)
Hey everyone!
So back on Wednesday I went to my local Sally's to see if they had any of the China Glaze Let It Snow collection in. It also happened to be the day I had to pick up my dad from the train station so it worked out well.
Okay so I got to get two of the 12 polishes from the collection.

My First Franken!!
Hello!
For today I have my first franken polish! Its nothing special really and I didn't create a bottle of it, but I will if I can get my hands on second bottles of each color I used!
So I have been kind of obsessed with Blue Years Eve from China Glaze. If you haven't see my Why So Blue? then click the link. So I thought maybe, just maybe I could come up with a way to re-create it. Unfortunately, I don't believe I re-created it but I did come close, its just a different shade. I took Celeb City from Sally Hansen Extreme Wear and Midnight Blue from Sinful Colors and mixed the two on a piece of paper.

Why so blue?
Hey everyone!
So today I have a 'trying to get me in the Holiday Mood' manicure. The other night I was looking at Sally's Beauty Supply website and Head2toe Beauty as well, to see if either of them had the China Glaze Holiday Collections, I knew that Head2toe would but I was unsure of Sally's.
Both website have them so I am hoping to come across them on my Sally's trip on Wednesday when I have to get my Dad from the train station. I could not stop looking at three out of the 12 polishes I believe there are. I want Twinkle Lights, Snow Globe and Blue Years Eve!
